You’re Invited to International Webinar: "Audiovisual Authors' Rights in Europe and Latin America"

We're thrilled to invite you to our upcoming webinar, "Audiovisual Authors' Rights in Europe and Latin America," happening on March 1, 2023, at 12:30 p.m. This lively two-hour session will feature industry insiders from Brazil, Chile, Poland, Slovenia, along with experts from FESAAL, SAA, and CISAC, sharing their stories and insights.

Europe and Latin America, despite being separated by vast distances, share common ground when it comes to championing the cause of audiovisual authors. These regions have established regulatory systems with a shared vision: to enact statutory regulations that guarantee fair remuneration for creators.

Regional and global organizations of audiovisual authors are actively advocating for copyright. Nevertheless, the journey is long, with audiovisual collections constituting just 6% of all CISAC revenues in 2021.

During "Audiovisual Authors' Rights in Europe and Latin America," representatives of creative organizations will shed light on the challenges they encounter. Our distinguished panel includes:

  • Daniella Castagno (ATN, Chile),
  • Henrique de Freitas Lima (DBCA, Brazil),
  • Urša Menart (AIPA, Slovenia),
  • Aleksander Pietrzak (ZAPA, Poland),
  • Cristina Perpiña-Robert Navarro (CISAC),
  • Dr German Gutierrez (FESAAL),
  • Frédéric Young (SAA).

This event will be conducted in English and Spanish, with simultaneous translation provided.
